Hedieh Samadi, DDS, is a Board-Certified General Dentist with a clinical background and expertise in the areas of Cosmetic and Integrative Dentistry. Dr. Samadi’s passion for root-cause medicine and the effects of Dental Sleep Disturbances on Oral-Systemic health has driven her to expand her expertise into the field of Sleep Dentistry, Tmj disorders and Craniofacial aesthetics.
With her expansive training at the Ben-Pan Institute, The Gelb Center and involvement with various sleep research studies and practices, Dr Hedieh is a strong advocate for airway health and the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunctions. She specializes in appliance therapy for patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and upper airway resistance, working closely with medical professionals to create customized, non-invasive treatment plans. Dr. Samadi emphasizes the importance of early detection and intervention, helping patients achieve improved sleep, reduced pain, and enhanced overall health and wellness. Her integrative approach to dentistry ensures that each patient’s unique needs are addressed comprehensively, with a focus on long-term health benefits.
Dr. Samadi earned her dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 2001, where she was the youngest recipient of the prestigious seven-year BADDS scholarship. During her time at NYUCD, she participated in the Orthodontic Honors Program, Volunteered at the Oral and Maxillofacial Clinic treating immuno-compromised patients and conducted research on the whitening efficacy of various toothpastes. She completed post-graduate studies in the AEGD program at Columbia University, where she specialized in Noble Biocare Implants and gained extensive experience in multidisciplinary and full-mouth reconstructive cases.
Dr. Samadi holds memberships with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Dental Association, New York State and New York County Dental Societies and active participant in the Dental Study Club of NY. She is certified in Invisalign, Botox and Erbium Yag Laser procedures.
