Dr. Marc Liechtung, D.M.D.
Dr. Marc Liechtung graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1986, one of the most world-renowned dental schools as well as having the best dental fellowship programs in the country.

After graduation, he attended an Advanced Restorative and Implant fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated from that fellowship in 1987. Dr. Liechtung has been a dentist in practice for over 18 years, is dedicated to each of his patients' dental needs and believes in treating each of his patients on an individual basis because needs and treatment differ from person to person.

Dr. Liechtung's interest in restorative and cosmetic aspects of dentistry led him to invent the Snap-On Smile multi-purpose restorative appliance in 2004 and subsequently patent the appliance in 2008. Today, in addition to his thriving practice, he travels both domestically and internationally, giving lectures about the Snap-On Smile appliance and its indications for use in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Adina Carrel, D.M.D., P.C.
Dr. Adina Carrel is a graduate of Harvard School of Dental Medicine, one of the top dental schools in the United States with one of the most advanced research departments. As a Harvard graduate she received the Award of Merit by the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

After obtaining her DMD degree she completed her General Practice Residency in 1995 at the Harvard-wide Brigham and Women's Hospital with clinical rotations at the renowned Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Hospital. Dr. Carrel has been a practicing dentist for over ten years in Midtown, New York City performing veneers, implants and other phases of cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Carrel is a very caring, dedicated and ethical professional. She believes each patient has different needs and expectations and therefore feels that all treatment should be customized according to those needs.

Dr. Michael Parr, D.D.S
Dr. Michael Parr is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery. He served for four years as an officer with the United States Public Service Corps and for seven years as a senior attending II with New York's Health and Hospital Corporation.

He was also an associate professor at New York Medical College. During this time, Dr. Parr performed every discipline of dentistry and fined tuned his considerable talents as a Cosmetic and Implant specialist. He has written and published several dental related articles.

Dr. Parr stays at the forefront of his field and shows his commitment to excellence by attending numerous continuing education courses. The most recent include:

• Implant Complication Management, Ridge Augmentation and Hydraulic Sinus Condensing

Dr. Mitchell Kaufman, D.D.S
Dr. Kaufman is a graduate of Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, one of the best in the country. He has been a dentist for years and has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving his D.D.S. degree.

His emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Kaufman is a specialist in the field of Periodontics and Implant Surgery.

His approach to your treatment starts with patiently listening to you. Then, after a complete and thorough examination, he reviews and discusses the diagnosis and treatment options with you.

Steven A. Lipner, D.D.S.
Endodontist
Dr. Lipner is a graduate of the New York University, College of Dentistry and is a specialist in the field of endodontics (root canal therapy). He completed his General Practice Residency program at the Nassau University Medical Center and then volunteered in Nicaragua with the Nicaraguan Outreach Organization treating underprivileged children in that country. He takes great pride in his ability to save teeth that would otherwise be lost to decay, fracture, or infection with his highly specialized approach to root canal therapy. He is well known in New York City for his unique ability to perform root canals without fear or discomfort to the patient.

Sandra Barone, R.D.H.
Sandra Barone joined our team in 2005. She graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She was the 2005 recipient of the NYU Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award.

Sandy has taken many continuing education courses and is up to date with all the latest techniques that provide our patients with optimum oral health and comfort.

She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association. Patients appreciate her gentleness and thoroughness. Sandy enjoys working in the specialties of Periodontics, Prosthodontics, and Pediatrics.

Diana Patino
Diana Patino joined our Manhattan Dental Arts in 2008. She graduated as a dental hygienist in New York City College of Technology.

Diana believes continuing education in the dental/medical field is essential and, through her years of practicing, has taken many Continuing Education courses to keep informed about the latest updates in health, treatments and technologies in the dental field.

She rejoices in educating patients about their oral health. Diana sees everyday as a new challenge because of the different people with different types of problems. Patients appreciate her friendliness and meticulousness.

She is active member of the American Dental Hygienist Association.

Nell Benjamin
Nell Benjamin joined our team in 2009. She attended State of Florida College for dental hygiene. During her rotations she received the Community Outreach Award for her dedication to bringing dental hygiene into under served areas of the community.

Nell believes in continuing education, and the importance of passing that knowledge onto her patients. Patients appreciate her gentle hands, and customized treatment that is tailored to meet each individuals needs.
